My name is Marte Martin, I'm an independent Venture Associate doing business as Marte Martin Venture Agency, where I specialize in Entrepreneurial Finance.
My professional career began working as the General Manager of a restaurant business co-owned with my brother in Flagstaff, AZ (USA), and while completing my college studies in accounting. I then gained great experience working as a Financial Auditor and Corporate-Finance Associate at Grant Thornton in Phoenix, AZ and later at EisnerAmper in New York City, NY. I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2009 (Inactive).
Before starting my practice in venture development, I also worked as a Financial Controller and Operations Manager at my family office in Madrid (Spain). Additionally, I have degrees in finance and business economics, and an MBA.
Since 2014 I fulfil project-based needs, often acting on an interim basis, to support new business ventures in different industries —putting them in position to be successful.
I'm based in Madrid and run pop-up bureaus in London and New York throughout the year. You can usually find me in Madrid's creative district of Arganzuela or taking part in events around the city.
