How we work

You get a dedicated finance associate who works with you regularly or when specific needs come up.

Options:

Ongoing support (a few hours per month or more intensive periods)
Single projects or one-off strategy sessions

Work can be 100% online, or a mix of online and in-person at our Madrid office (weekdays 9:30–18:30; first 60 minutes free, with coffee). We also have short stays planned in London and New York during the year, and we travel for important project

A new digital platform is coming in early 2026: book time, share files securely, use ready-made frameworks, and get quick analysis when you need it.

Pricing

Transparent and flexible:

Base rate: €75 per hour (excl. VAT)
Retainer / package rate: starting at €45 per hour (discounts apply for regular work)

You pay only for the time or project agreed — no hidden costs, no long contracts you cannot end.

Background

The practice was started in 2014 and is one of the first dedicated virtual finance support practices established in Spain, with a clear focus on entrepreneurial finance. Since then, we have worked with more than 20 companies in Spain, the UK, the US, and other countries. Clients include early ventures, growing businesses, investors, and agencies in the venture space.

Examples of past work include support for mundoestudio.es, soydata.net, thinkyoung.eu, monocle.com, kioskafe.com, startupguide.com, ciudadanos-cs.org, eu-startups.com, akora.com (among others).

We have developed financial models and unit-economics frameworks for ventures at the edge of product and business-model innovation, and assisted many with fundraising preparation and strategy.

Marte Martin leads the practice. He brings an international background: fluent in Spanish and English (functional in French); degrees in Finance, Accounting, and Economics; an MBA from IE Business School; previous roles in financial auditing and corporate finance at Grant Thornton and EisnerAmper; financial control in a family office; and early experience as a business owner.
